Dd-wrt Update Multiple Ddns
I already have try ALL above settings and even more, with no success.at least in my router TP-Link TL-WA801ND v1 with Kernel: Linux 3.5.7.33i have try 'use external ip check' with response just one line:'Sat Dec 6 15:: INADYN: Started 'INADYN Advanced version 1.96-ADV' - dynamic DNS updater.' I have try dd-wrt wiki syntax, no success again.@Mile-Lile the screenshot above is just few minutes after i press 'apply' button.Just 3 lines, as shown in the pic, even i pass the '-verbose 5' in the Options.i also try packet capture, and seems inadyn don't try to connect to server at all.In the net is a patch special for dtdns.com:I don't know if this patch helps in something. Replying to:dtdns has a special response check. So inadyn is not able to recognize if the ip was updated successfully. It will always detect it as error. This is something i found out while developing the support for itthe error happens (i think, if we talk about same thing) cause the nameservers of dtdnsNS1.DTDNS.COM - 174.36.249.242NS2.DTDNS.COM - 67.228.106.194NS3.DTDNS.COM - 75.126.80.224it's too lazy to update the hosts db, take it about 5-10 mins or more.i observe this error and in another router (fritzbox) w/ dtdns.except this error, the update works correctly.
Dd Wrt Setup Guide
I've got no-ip configured with dd-wrt, on the router side, on the ddns, selected no-ip, entered my username and password and the host i wanted, blablabla.no-ip.info.still on the router side. On nat/qos i opened up port 80,and bound it to my webserver local ip.changed the webserver's hosts file to contain my no-ip hostname.and i got it to work, i can access my webserver from outside my network.no need the extra configurationYes but on the DD-WRT configuration, it is suppose to say something like it has been successful with DDNS correct? First see if you can resolve your name to the right IP address.that would be a first step.the next step would be to verify open ports.
It should be almost instantaneous. I have dyndns and it is pretty darned fast.Thank you for helping:)OK, first off I try pinging the name right now, nothing. I have however gotten a response in the past and when I try to go to it, it redirects me to my router (which is correct). This is trying it on the same LAN.

It has never worked outside.Pointless, but pinging my WAN address works.
